Magnus wanders into town, stopping by the Golden Plow after his long days of travelling. Barely getting the dust of the road off himself, he makes his way out the door. "Well, time to get to work laddie" he mutters under his breath, as he heads out to find a brewery in need of a fine dwarven brewmaster. After all, he wouldn't be able to help his people with no gold in his pockets. Downtime Sheet can be found here

With some coins in his pocket and a fine set of masterwork tools made for armor crafting, Magnus adds his name to the list of craftsman at the local forge. Hopefully it would bring some more lucrative business his way, until then he could continue working at the brewery.

Saathe enters the shop doors and says "Hello? I have an order that might make you a decent amount of coin. A very well made scythe. I hear they are very good at bringing another person's feet from under them."

Beval walks up to the forge, looking quickly from the address on a slip of parchment to the building. This would do. Taking a few steps inside, he looks around and sighs with relief when he's sure no guardsmen are around.
"Hello, friend! Bevals' the name." He says to Magnus, holding up a hand in greeting. "I seem to be in the market for a better shortsword, though I hope it sees far less battle than this one has had recently." He holds up his own shortsword, running a hand along the gashes and dings.
"My line of work can be very... precarious at times. I loathe the idea of needing to use it while on the job, yet I feel that its a necessary burden." Taking a few moments to reminisce what the sword had carried him through, he smiles and sets it on the table. "I would like a shortsword of masterwork quality, and I hear you're quite the craftsman. How much would that run me?"

Glancing up from his work Magnus eyes Beval, then casually places the hammer on the anvil before responding. "None can craft a finer weapon than a dwarf, but i have orders ahead of you and it would take me some time before i could get to it" (May 1st) "Your welcome to find another craftsman if ye like, i can't say i would blame you. Having quality steel at yer side isn't something one should have to wait for. But if you willing to wait i would gladly forge you a weapon that would inspire poets with the beauty of it's craftsmanship" He returns to the Mithral breastplate he was working on, allowing Beval to weigh his options.

Bevel ponders for a few moments, thinking it over.
"That's quite a wait, friend. I'll search elsewhere for now, but do not forget my face. You'll be seeing me again." He smiles warmly, holding out his hand to shake Magnus'.
"May the gods bless your hammer, mighty dwarf." Bevel says as he bows and makes his way out of the forge. On to the next!

Magnus gives the hand a firm shake, watching after the odd fellow as he departs. Someday, he would have to open his own forge, with a place to store his work, then he wouldn't have to turn away customers. Until then it was back to work. He turned back to the breastplate and smiled as he fell back into the pounding rhythm and flying sparks of his work.
