Well hello there,
Im leary, or known by most of my friends as Leroy (Jenkins ofc). Im a mostly excited and energetic person apart from the times im tired. I like theorizing a lot, reading upon rules and strategies and I mostly like discussing about those things. Sometimes in a very intensive way, mostly in a patient and understanding way.
My style of GM-ing:
I don't really have a special style. I have styles for every different game though. In general, I try to stick to a certain theme for sessions. If a session is a detective-like session, it'll probably involve a single combat focused on a chase or a really tough fight and a lot of role-playing, talking back and forth between chars and npc's, if its a clear-out or defend, then it is going to focus on combat and less so on roleplaying. Some style-elements I do have (but don't go for a particular style) is much non-vanilla combat (that means, I don't often put mindless and <2 intelligence mobs in the combat, unless they have DR's and resistances. Secondly, I like to work useful items into the environment if that might help in situations. Like, if they need to break into a door, there might be a workshop somewhere close, if they need to climb, there might be some ropes nearby to find.
Strong points:
- Passioned
- Well-prepared
- Flexible in options
- Flavorful and visual Gm-ing (as in, even a heavy combat session will be filled with as much flavor as I can)
- Will take critique easy (offset by being a general stubborn person though, meaning, I need to see a reason to adapt. Often a good thing is to bring critique with a good reasoning)
Weaker points:
- New to Pathfinder and general tabletops. (though being heavily offset by the passioned strong point)
- Might sometimes want to give too much (I.E running sessions when tired, or just trying to make the session be overflowed by good stuff, sometimes, too much good isnt good anymore)
- As said, stubborn
- I have my visions. I don't like people trying to take away my visions
- Generally, I don't like people who don't respect me. Its kind of a case where I will stop giving if I dont get it back.
