I can understand why someone would wan't to ban gunslingers from a setting. Not wanting guns is a reasonable setting choice and one I can agree with. However I was wondering about the Bolt Ace, it's from the literally brand new advanced glass guide and takes the gun out of gunslinger and replaces it with mastery of the crossbow. Would there be a chance if this alternate version of the class being allowed it?

The gunslinger ban is a temporary restriction that will unlock when the world progress far enough to have discovered firearms.
However your point about Bolt Ace is a reasonable one. I personally see no problems with the archetype as long as it strips out firearms related abilities.
If the other staff don't take a look at this and respond, I'll bring up the topic with them on IRC the next time we have a discussion.

Would need to give a few caveats for the firearm stuff. Bolt Ace is HORRIBLY written as is. For example, as written, they still get a starting gun, proficiency with guns (but not any special xbows...), and the Gunsmithing feat.
Everything else seems to be fine for the setting, though. You can just say "anything that gives Bolt Ace guns or the ability to craft guns doesn't work."
