Character Name: Kelvin Ashcroft

Background Information:
Born and raised in Rook's Hearth district, Kelvin had a relatively trouble-free childhood. Though not overly gifted in his studies his parents still sought him an education which largely went to waste, though his curiousity was piqued by the strange items the tutors occasionally brought with them. Most of his spare time was spent playing with others of his age and exploring his home city, giving him somewhat of a start in life when it came to knowing his surroundings and having to fend for himself whenever he got lost away from home. It wasn't in his nature to ask the guards for help, even though he knew they'd likely do it even with the grumbling, so Kelvin tended to roam the city often at late hours.
As he entered adolescence Kelvin aimed to help out his family as he understood just how much they had provided for him. As such he often took errands and undertook small services for local shops and occasionally even the guards when they were short on runners. Glancing at the missives brought a new curiosity to kelvin as he wondered about the world beyond the city even as he realised that as a child it simply wasn't right to just up and leave his home to explore further. As he aged therefore, and was finally able to get in to taverns without being instantly thrown out, he spoke to other wandering souls who could describe the outside world to him, always marvelling at their boasts and tales of danger.
One such individual, an elven archer who went by the name of Darviel, was seemingly refreshed by the open curiosity and lack of racial hostility from the young lad, so effectively took him under his wing. Over the course of several years Darviel taught Kelvin how to use his weapon of choice - the longbow. Though it took considerable time, Kalvin learnt how to shoot accurately and how the longbow could be used to hunt food, and so he often went on short trips outside the city to hunt rabbits and other legal game with the elf, building a strong friendship that remains to this day. As Kelvin hit his 20th year he decided the time was finally right to step foot in the outside world properly after all the tutelage he'd received, so left his parents amicably and started to fend for himself concerning food and lodging. He still visits home regularly to check up on his parents but for now the world is truly starting to open up to him.
Available Times Of Play:
As before, pretty much any evening aside from Wednesdays, from 9pm or so GMT. Can vary somewhat soon, due to work hours changing in a couple of weeks.
Favorite play-style:
Still open to anything pretty much, been playing and GMing (mostly GMing....) many, many systems with different themes and approaches.
