Lord Radburn Glorysmith the third, a noble of Rook and noted fashion leader, hired the adventurers to escort his son (Radburn the fourth) onto a pleasure hunt in the mountains to the north to kill a Snow Leopard for its fur. He offers them 1000 gold for the mission. After preparing and resting for the night in Rook, they leave the next dawn.
Using exceedingly speedy horses, they travel toward the base camp and to the area near Broken Peak mountain. Leaving behind their caravan, they walk the horses along a narrow path to the base camp and are attacked by wolves. Using tactics (or at the least, hitting harder than the wolves), they defeat the threat and protect the wimpy Radburn the fourth. Hunter convinces Herace to leave the sleeping wolf lie and they continue on.
Inside the base camp's lodge, they meet Clash, an aging but able woodsman in the Glorysmith employ. He gives them hearty beef stew and guards them through the night. Amelia spends the night with Radburn.
The next day, they take their bait goat to Broken Peak and try to ambush the leopard. However, after several rounds where the adventurers made more noise than the goat, a leopard busts out of the trees and kills the goat. Radburn the fourth fails to hit with his crossbow and Herace kills the leopard. Being paranoid, they remain on guard and quickly knock out the second leopard that charges the noble. Radburn then puts a bolt into the sleeping leopard's skull.
After another brisk jaunt, they carry the leopard bodies to Clash, who sets about cleaning and skinning them. They spend another night and then return to Rook. Along the way back, they spot some wolves skirting around them, but both sides allow the other to pass without violence.
Once they return to Rook, Amelia is able to convince the butler that Lord Glorysmith had promised them 1500 gold instead of 1000 gold for the mission, and distracts Radburn the fourth by reinforcing his worldview. A bit of subtle party communication later (read slapping party members to shut them up), and they return to the Golden Plow to split their gold.
