Player Loot:
Lorek Ra'dari: 2528gp, level 4 spell.
Ben Weese: 2528gp, level 4 infusion.
Faelyn Lenci: 2528gp, level 4 spell.
Solomon Nox: 2528gp, level 4 spell, masterwork silk-lined mahogany coffin.
Primrose: 2528gp, level 4 spell.
Primrose, lounging in the Golden Plow looking for adventuring work, approached a man who seemed to be scouting for adventurers. Though mistaken for a serving girl, she agreed to find some competent adventurers to help the man kick out a squatter in his new property, as contraptions and constructs were making it difficult. Within the hour Primrose had visited Lorek and Solomon, and further scouted out Ben and Faelyn. Going to check with the employer it all appeared to be completely legal, so the intrepid group visited the house in question.
Eventually making contact brought the attentions of some flesh golems, a pair of pairs who seemed to ignore Solomon in his watery form and instead attack only clearly humanoid targets. Lorek, having prepared, made the encounters almost trivials as the constucts were shut down forcibly, then beaten down with more force and dismantled. As Solomon went upstairs a pair of alchemical golems took to the fore, given wider commands and thus targets. Retreating, Solomon was teleported away by Primrose. This unfortunately left Faelyn completely explosed, the he was excessively bombed as the main target, rendering most of his body in to acidic slag. Regardless, and with nothing much coming of Solomon punching a hole in the wall, the alchemical golems were quickly beaten down as Lorek shut them down once it was safer to get within sight of them.
Seeing a trapdoor in the ceiling, Solomon attempted to negotiate with the man upstairs but all that happened was that Solomon, dominated, turned and started wailing on Ben. This was swiftly ended when Lorek wandered up and used a wand of protection from evil, at which point it started going down - grapples, pins, beatdowns and hijinks ensued. The man managed to gaseous form and flee, spiriting himself down an escape tube. Not one to let an insult go, Solomon went up to the tube and looked down in to the sewers, firing off a hail mary burst of radiance, catching the (by now clearly) vampire, and finally 'killing' him. Rushing to the sewers, a fortuitous search found a tiny trail leading to the vampire's coffin, allowing Solomon to stake him. Since it was a nice coffin, Solomon took it.
Returning to their employer, payment was rendered in full. Taking a bunch of golem construct parts, at least those not wrecked, the group funded the raising and restoration of Faelyn, who was then presented with his pay and share of the alchemical and magical research from the attic. Overall, a profitable time.
