Today's group was collectively ambushed by an unusual fairy-like creature. After a rather unusual string of conversations things happened and they went through a portal. on the other side of the portal they had fun flying around in an air dominate portion of some manner of free-form plane, but that ended quickly as they had a job to do.
that job involved killing a few fire aligned creatures which went rather well thanks to a vast array of buffs. everyone then got paid and went home happy.
