Character Name: Miere Klerrin
www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=1012569
Background Information:
Curious by nature, Miere has grown up in Rook largely uneventfully. Raised by generally poor yet pleasant parents who had a penchant for stories to alleviate the monotony of their lives, Miere has a vivid imagination and tends to look at things with eyes full of wonder. Much of his time as a child, when not helping his parents with menial jobs or errands, was spent bothering any locals or travelers who demonstrated any magical aptitude at all, however small. Bothering them with question after question, Miere quickly grew to appreciate the freedom the magic potentially offered and the joy it could bring both to his life, and that of others.
Never one to shy away from experimentation, Miere pushed himself when it came to trying to develop magical talent and, at a young age, met a friend he named Capitalist, as they said they came from a Merchant Conglomeration that had their eyes set on Rook. Intrigued by this new friend, Miere endlessly described him to his parents, who chuckled at the antics of this so-called friend, clearly no more than an imaginary soul who kept their child company when he was alone. It wasn't until he brought Capitalist home, by inadvertently summoning him, that his parents realised his imaginary friend was in fact a tall scaly gorilla with the head of a shark and a whipcord scorpion tail. This made the home relations strained, to say the least.
After a few years of stress and a lot of saving up, Miere's parents gave him a pouch of money, some worldly advice and strongly urged him to leave home and live free, going wherever his imagination could take him. Frankly, they were fed up with the gorilla-shark thing ambling around the house and scaring the neighbors, and the usual plethora of random creatures that kept popping in to being was ruining the floorboards. With a happy step and friendly goodbye, along with a promise to visit that fell on strained smiles, Miere then set off in to Rook to find his own way via the means of potentially unsavoury jobs that benefited from the presence of Capitalist and his menagerie of not-so-imaginary friends.
In the past couple of years Miere has been come to known in Rook for his pleasant demeanor, a winning attitute, utter acceptance of potentially risky jobs for immense financial gain and, of course, a scaly shark-headed gorilla named Capitalist who appears to be fairly polite if somewhat hungry all the time.
Available Times Of Play:
Pretty much any evening aside from Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 9pm or so GMT. Can vary somewhat soon, due to work hours changing in a couple of weeks.
Favorite play-style:
Open to anything pretty much, been playing and GMing (mostly GMing....) many, many systems with different themes and approaches.
