Standard gains: 450 XP 300 Gold
Baldur
Mulog
Almyra
Siegfried
Soren
GM bonus: Aura’li
Today’s adventure started off with Mulog being chased by some “guards”. Baldur was happy enough to lend a hand as the chase had let outside of Rook and the guards were not, in fact, guards. Two “guards” taken care of, one by color spray and the other knocked out and nearly dead, brought the quarrel to a close.
One interrogation later found the party at a house that was filled with the bodies of more “guards” and what appeared to be some very poor adventurers. A quick search of the bodies revealed a nice bundle of loot, and a message telling the “guards” to meet at a camp east of the eastern slums. Not knowing where this location was, the group resorted to some expert tracking in order to find it.
After a few hours of searching, and finding a trail by sheer luck on Siegfried’s part, the camp was located, and Baldur pretended to be something known as a “Chewbacca”, with Soren, Siegfried and Almyra being his captors. The animal companions and Mulog hid in the forest, and once the captor group came in close to a rather large gathering of “guards” hell was unleashed in the form of overbearing vines which just didn’t want to let go.
The battle began rather predictably, but once a large Baldur began smashing things with a quarterstaff that hit far harder than it should have, the “guards” made failed attempted after failed attempt to run away. Once the situation had been dealt with, Baldur planted some seeds and the group discovered that some Imperial based group was making an effort to dispose of Rook’s adventurers.
