Today began with a letter from the ant colony requesting the presence of the adventurers. The queen wished to unveil some manner of surprise to the party. After a length of time spent catching up and sharing information, the party eventually made their way to the ant colony. Once they arrived, it was revealed that Miere and Capitalist were heroes to the ants, Capitalist even more so, which apparently left them at a loss for words.
The queen then wasted no time in revealing her surprise. With the help of Prime and Walter, she was both turned humanoid, and reduced in size to a more reasonable stature. After voicing their extreme surprise over the matter, the mood turned awkward as the gathered adventurers were unwilling to celebrate with the Queen. Fortunately, all was not lost as the fey who had been attacking the ants returned. The first waves were fought off well enough, but the adventurers were called upon to strike the fey where they were strongest and so without delay they set off.
The fight went rather well with nothing more than a few hailstorms and some mist causing the adventurers pause. Solomon’s undead took the brunt of the assault, and that was pretty much the end of it. The party then returned to the ant caves where they were paid for services rendered.
