Description: "Giddy" is not, as a rule, a word to be applied to men over six feet tall. That being said, Dorian gives it his best attempt. His medium length hair is tied up in the back, with a bandanna around his forehead to keep hair from his eyes. He keeps his angular face clean shaven, and his light brown, nearly golden eyes smile warmly at everyone they gaze on. His chest and arms are wrapped in intertwining leather bands, and a curved spear rests on his back.
Brief Background: As a young child, he was enthralled in his fathers' studies into the Inner Planes, specifically the Elemental Planes of existence. He scrambled up every bit of knowledge he could, often becoming distracted by other tomes. As he grew, he developed no particular talent for wizardry, only a knack for learning, a disparity that alternately disappointed and bolstered his wizard father's pride. After his mother died, Dorian's father began travelling to various small towns, selling cheap magic and enchanted items. Not being prone to bloodshed himself, he hired a group of mercenaries, led by an Elf, who studied every living thing, in an effort to be able to slay them more efficiently. As young men are prone to do, Dorian was fascinated by the mercenaries, who taught him how to fight with a spare guisarme they had from a fallen comrade. He took to it well, and even parted ways from his father with the mercenaries as a caravan guard for a few years. But that changed when Dorian met an Oread. He was told of their connection, not only to the earth and world, but to the Elemental Plane of Earth, as well. Inspired by this knowledge, his mind continued on: If there was a race of humanoids who were connected to the elemental plane of earth, why not fire, as well? Or air and water, even? He left the mercenaries after that job, and went to the nearby city of Rook, to scour the libraries there for reference to the ones he sought.
