Miere: +2000 XP +917gp + 2 potion reimbursement
Primrose: +2000 XP +917gp
Deverdon: +2000 XP +917gp
Finn: +2000 XP +917gp + 2 potion reimbursement
Zorin: GM Reward +2000 XP +917gp
Their curiosity piqued by a vague invitation, Miere, Primrose, Deverdon and Finn meet in the slummiest hole of Rook at a warehouse that appears to be about to collapse. Looks being always so deceiving, they find inside a sturdy structure, celebration, luxury and anonnymized wealthy patrons. Jameson Gemstone, the owner of the Hero Games, briefly explains the games and that the dangers and rewards are all too real.
Once upon the field of battle, the four are confronted and amused by dispatching 2 Ice Elementals. Though they couldn't know it, the crowd was duly impressed by their power and applauded.
Next, confronted by rapids, a short journey upriver affords what to them was an easy swim across. Now all wet, 3 Owlbears provided only a brief distraction from their ultimate goal. This time, the crowd simply watched in awe as feathers and bone were strewn across the contested ground.
After a brisk and easy climb, the portal back to the material plane was in sight, guarded only by two future piles of purses and wallets. The shielded audience joked in glee as the four sliced the Dominated Megaraptors to unrecognizable shreds in a matter of no more than 20 seconds.
Through the portal, an adoring, creepy, gray clad, masked crown clapped and whispered their respects to the mighty contestants. Soon, off they went into the Rook night, laden with gold and many a great pun on their lips.
