Summary:
Dryth led the party to a shipwreck at sea, where an exceptionally powerful demon lord threatened Rainen, his confidence turned quickly to awe, followed by confusion, defeat, and then utter desolation, as debuff after debuff destroyed his already fragile mind. Fireballs made short work of his summoned backup, and Rainen blew 2 9th level spells obliterating the lowly Melethzu Demon who fled the scene. Following the trail this demon was leading led to a whirlpool, and a gate to the abyss which Rainen closed.
