Character Name: Gaius Crow
Backstory:
Gaius was born to a common family in a small town surrounded by dense forest in a corner of the world. It was a simple community with a small tavern and basic trade. Most hunted or farmed to support themselves. At a young age Gaius' parents sent him to the City of Rook to become a scholar's apprentice in the hopes to give him more than a simple life. This scholar happened to be an alchemist, and from him, Gaius learned his craft.
After many years when Giaus' apprenticeship had ended, he traveled home to share his experience. But the whole town was missing. After some minor investigation, he found out that in his absence the entire town had fallen victim to a disease from no one was able to survive. The years of distance between them and Gaius' slight resentment for being sent away numbed the lose, but still he grieved. This experience founded his faith in Urgathoa. Now Gaius was alone and had to make his own way in the world. He returned to the City of Rook and became a full fledged scholar focusing his study on his craft of alchemy.
Several more years passed and now Gaius is an adult. He learned all he had the patience for through study alone, so he turned to adventuring. He hopes to master his craft and become a well renowned alchemist to honor his family's wishes, despite his conflicted feelings towards them.

Gaius is tall and of average build with blue eyes and brown unkempt hair. His clothing is simple and typically untidy. When speaking he is strait forward and blunt, not liking to waste words. Gaius dislikes authority due to his past of being sent away from his family, and takes pride in his independence after losing said family and being forced to live his late childhood alone.
