Session Supporting - In Theory and Practice
Adventures were tasked with finding a mine and collect some samples of Ore that could potentially be used in the creation of the item. The PCs ended up entering the lower mountain range North of Rook in the Iron Realm borders. They encountered an elderly dwarf whose cart had gotten stuck in the snow along the path and assisted in helping him out.
While traveling for a few days they nearly ran into an small Iron Regiment Patrol. Between their days of travel, they eventually noticed that the tracks were conducting a searching pattern looking for something themselves.
After a few more days travel they eventually reached the base of the mountain range where the supposed mine/cave, took them some time but they found it. Moving to inspect the cave they soon discovered it was inhabited by a few Cold Iron Elementals, which were not hostile and appeared more annoyed. After some exploring they found a few samples, one happened to be within the rumble of a huge Elemental who spoke to them. An agreement was made a trade was done, with the trade they soon discovered there was an issue with transporting the ore back to Rook, which they accomplished.
