In Theory and Practice Arc session.
Player Loot:
Myka: 3700gp, 3 Influence.
Melinda: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
Faelyn Lenci: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
Marcus Aur: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
Lanward Tirnel: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
2 Influence base, +1 for ensuring the Hag is finally defeated... for good! Highly probably.
Having prepared for a zombie infestation before, Rook started containment procedures as the various adventurers marshaled their forces to help contain the juju zombies in the slums. With several adventurers deploying personal armies, or exterminating suspiciously acting people with extreme prejudice, the outbreak was rather effectively contained considering this time the zombies were intelligent and skilled. The zombies' flaw was that most of them were basic tradesmen and not actual adventurers... Liasing with the guards was like liasing with a brick wall, for they, and their supervisors, were somewhat unimpressed with the whole situation. Regardless, the group sought out Miere to help track down the hag via scrying effects and the result was actually one of the watch houses. Worried, everyone quickly headed over to try and evacuate the place as the Watch Captain entered a slight standoff with marcus. Unimpressed with threats and violence, the captain rebuffed the taunts till fighting broke out within the building - a full half of the guard there were already zombies!
Some hard fighting later and the captain was defeated, as were some of the problematic soldiers. This however meant the Hag went body hopping again with only the nearby adventurers as valid targets... This resulted in several adventurers acting as sacrifices to use up all the viable places the Hag could hide. Once she was out of bodies the remaining warded adventurers saw her try to manifest her own form, only to wail in torment as her essence was broken apart and banished thanks to having no host. It seemed like the problem was finally gone... probably.
