In Theory and Practice Arc session.
Player Loot:
Myka: 2900gp, 3 Influence.
Bishop: 4500gp, 2 Influence.
Faelyn Lenci: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
Saathe: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
Marcus Aur: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
Lanward Tirnel: 4500gp, 3 Influence.
2 Influence base, +1 for completing the job with ample reagents. -1 for Bishop due to being almost solely blamed for the juju zombie outbreak in Myka's report to Commander Bergstein.
Given the job to go north to recover some reagents and alchemical materials from a deceased hag, the group duly traveled in to the cold lands north of Rook's northern forest. As it turns out, some pretty damn big Dire Bears were around and using a slaughtered deer as bait, but aside from looking dangerous presented no real threat against a prepared party. The poor bears were repurposed as food themselves as the adventurers continued to travel north to the camp they had been directed to. Sure enough it was abandoned and had been for a while, though the signs of fights years past were still evident - pits and desiccated corpses. With some searching the adventurers found a dried heart that was faintly necromantic in one of the huts. Picking it up and randomly activating it just because, Myka found it was remarkably evil and so gave it to the party necromancer who took a bit of a weird turn as it magically bound itself to them.
Finding out the heart wasn't a good thing, it was dispelled by Bishop only for the aura to firmly latch on to the party necromancer. This was probably not a good thing overall. regardless, hunting for the Hag's hut itself saw the group finding the reagents they were after in abundance. Satisfied that the job was well completed everyone traveled back to Rook to deliver the goods. Unfortunately once there the hag, spiritually inhabiting the necromancer, vacated her body and started body hopping through the slums in Rook, leaving animating juju zombies behind in her wake. This was seen to be a poor state of affairs as everyone went to tell Commander Bergstein that Rook had a zombie outbreak problem. Again.
