Approaching people in the Golden Plow, a merchant from Orashar proposed a job to some of the adventurers hanging out there. Agreeing to hear the man's employer, they followed the merchant to Orashar and went underground to meet up with what seemed to be a tan Kobold. Introducing himself as one of the Kobolds who had a stable population trading with Orashar, specifically the Duergar. As of late intruders had been encroaching in to their homes underground, annexing the tunnels and cutting the Kobolds off from their mining resources. As such, the Kobold wanted to hire people to go down and talk to the intruders and try to convince them to leave. Accepting the job for fair pay, the group explored deep down in to the tunnels and eventually came across a centaur-esque ant creature. Identified as a Formian, the adventurers tried to talk them in to leaving. However, unlike the kobolds, the adventurers were large enough to lay eggs inside and provide adequate food for hatchlings. Thus, negotiations broke down and the party began exterminating Formians.
Moloch forged ahead on his own when the others decided to head back, and quickly got knocked out and tied up for implanting later. Waking, he found himself with another captured half elf and two captured merchants. As a group, they began making their way back after getting out of their bonds at a similar time the rest of the party came to look for Moloch once alchemical preparations had been finished. Several dead Formians later, and reunited, the group continued to take out more Formians and eventually found Moloch's stolen weaponry as well as a variety of mundane and magical trinkets. Looting this as a matter of course, the group then headed back to inform the Kobolds that negotiation wasn't really on the table.
