The heroes were gathered to investigate the tunnels under the mansion they had previously explored. Meeting with Magnus and Peek, they learned of the passcode they would need. They also discovered that Puck had been missing for a week, and had gone ahead to investigate. Facing the horrors underneath the mansion, several of the group almost died. Many obstacles were faced, and they always felt one step behind their enemy. Facing the horrific beast deep in the tunnels, Turin's arrows were put to deadly effect, dropping the beast. The black robed figure then revealed himself, as none other than Esré's father. Offering her the opportunity to join him, he was quickly turned down, and in a fit of madness he yelled out "Then you shall be destroyed!!" before flying off at his master's summons. Terrified at how close they had come to death, they moved forward. Around the corner they discovered the body of Puck, heart ripped from his chest, if only they had been faster. With hanging heads and heavy hearts, they returned to Rook. Returning the body to Peek, the group could only look on at the heartbreak and tears as Peek sat in the rain cradling the body of his lifelong friend.....
