A local woman posted a plea for help on the usual job board in the plow. It was straight forward in the fact that she couldn't really afford to pay the adventurer's that responded much if anything. Answering the plea, the group set out to get some more information from the woman, but as the approached the address on the posting they spotted a small group of hunched figures dragging an unconscious woman from her house. Rushing into battle, the group got bogged down by the creatures while one of them managed to drag the woman down a nearby manhole.
While the party was busy fighting the abductors, who were uttering odd statements in Aklo, Sylvester rushed ahead and jumped into the sewers after the woman, only to find himself facing down a pack of odd, hunched men and even odder smaller creatures built out of an amalgam of body parts and teeth. Deciding Discretion was the better part of Valor, Sylvester took off down one of the side passages with the creatures in pursuit. Amaranth dropped down next and found the creatures a little too close for comfort and took off after sylvester. Chris was third into the fray but was cut off from the others so instead took off down the opposite tunnel with on of the axe wielders in pursuit. The rest of the party followed rapidly after that, with the exception of Crunch who was busy trying to get a lantern lit, and the fight was on. Chris was rendered unconscious, with Marleeri following soon after. Kaitos, Amaranth, and Sylvester all took some damage trying to hold back the creatures who seemed to be able to absorb massive amounts of punishment. Eventually they were able to strike most of them down but not before the creature, called the Feeder, came rushing out of the darkness from the south. The troll waded into the fray, taking some fairly brutal blows as it tried to bring down Chris. With two allies down and the monsters vanquished, for now, the party withdrew and regrouped. Visiting a near by Military Academy that was known to have a hospital open to the public, they got their fallen allies back on their feet. Heading back in the next day they found a massive chasm in the sewers, leading down into the darkness. Tossing a torch in they figured it to be about 150ft drop to a large body of water. Shouting down in a while range of languages, Irk received no answer from below but was able to talk Kaitos into calling out in Aklo. That got a response, a massive, bellowing voice from below that shook the tunnel they party stood in. The voice beckoned them down to it, but when they claimed they could not, it informed them that it was coming. Massive tremors began to rock the sewer tunnel as the thing climbed up, Kaitos and Crunch waiting to see what it was and hoping it was friendly. As it drew closer a wave of stench overcame most of the party, sending the majority running for safety but still Kaitos and Crunch waited. Finally something slammed down into the tunnel with the party, though they remained incapable of seeing it, but it's presence was made known when it suddenly swept up Kaitos and crushed him into inconsciousness. Convinced it was indead, not friendly, the group started to flee, but overpowered by the beasts stench Crunch was unable to get away. He too was swept up and crushed, His broken body hurled at Sylvester just before he fled up the ladder and into the street. Whatever was below riped apart the street as the group fled, seeking help.
Returning a while later they found the area around the sewer entrance smashed falt, stinking black sludge coating everything and a massive hole torn through the road where whatever it was ripped it's way free and into rook. Heading down below they found no sign of their fallen comrades and returned back to the plow to mourn their fallen.
