A carless druid seems to have let one of his more dangerous companions get away where it ran indiscriminate through the country side eating the livestock of many of the local farmers. Lanward just happened to have heard rumors of the powerful beast and decided it must be killed for the good of the common folk. Of course the body had to be returned as proof that the beast was taken out.
Finding a group of powerful adventures was easy in a place like Rook. Unfortunately that group died and he had to settle with the second group that wondered in asking about the notice Lanward had placed in the Golden Plow. Surprisingly the second group seemed to be able to handle the Megaraptor so Lanward got the body as proof and the group got a bag of gold for their troubles. There was a bit of a miss hap with the local Rook guard after some one in the party decided to borrow a horse and cart from a known cowboy in the area with out asking his permission but that was handled in the most reasonable way possible that did not involve blood shed.
