Character Name: Jhuirel Woodkin
www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=1019516
Background Information:
Jhuirel didn't remember much of his childhood. Found wandering the wood as a young adolescent by an elven merchant named Daerdril Aethos, he was brought to Rook and raised there under the combined care of Daerdril and the 'temple', or rather large store, of his patron deity Abadar. During these much later formative years Jhuirel came to love both Daerdril as a father and a friend, the merchant teaching him about the mysteries and sanctity of gold, financial worth and success. This was only helped by the faithful of Abadar who held merchants in high regard and further impressed upon the half-elf how important gold was. Daerdril also let Jhuirel know that whoever his parents were, he had Drow ancestry as shown by his marginally duskier skin which didn't reflect quite as bright during daytime as usual. Though Jhuirel didn't quite understand such a significance at first , he came to know the marginalization of the Drow as told by the merchants who plied their trade with Oriar. Thankful for the warning, Jhuirel came to value Daerdril even more as a prime driving force of his life.
Due to the kindness of others Jhuirel is keen to lead life with an optimistic outlook, giving others the benefit of the doubt when need be. He truly believes that most people can be good when given a chance and the requisite money to do so. This mildly conflicts with his learned philosophy however since he covets gold and the material possessions it can bring almost above all else - his sense of justice for the poor only narrowly edging it out and even then merely to help the poor become useful consumers in a competitive and thriving economy. Having gone traveling with his adoptive father several times in his years growing up has given Jhuirel the chance to learn undercommon and speak with the Drow of Oriar who view him as a mild curiosity. Even so he's attempted at least asking around as to his parents but has had no luck thus far.
The one thing that truly troubles Jhuirel are the woods. Such forested places tend to put him ill at ease, suspicious of the shadows and what they may contain. Shattered and flickering memories of his childhood occasionally haunt him, the visage of an amber-eyed wolf prominent in his fevered dreams.
Available Times Of Play:
As before, pretty much any evening aside from Wednesdays, from 9pm or so GMT. Can vary somewhat soon, due to work hours changing in a couple of weeks.
Favorite play-style:
Still open to anything pretty much, been playing and GMing (mostly GMing....) many, many systems with different themes and approaches.
