Yet again goblins attacked the shepherds of the farmstead district, this time burning a few cottages and making away in the night with a young boy. Hired to retrieve the lad a group of adventurers set out into the woods once more after the scourge of the farmstead. Creeping cautiously through the trees all seemed to be going well until a rocket came screaming out of the bushes up ahead, barely missing victor and flying off into the forest to start a fire. Unable to spot where the rocket had come from Victor was surpised by a hail of arrows, some of which hit the mark and then the fight was on. Rockets and fireworks went off freely throughout the fight but the group was eventually able to subdue the goblins while only creating a minor forest fire. While trying to wrap up the fight and put out the fires another rocket came screaming in, this one actually hitting the group and causing a little bit of damage as another batch of goblins charged in.
The second group was dispatched even more rapidly than the first, and while the rest of the party dealt with their prisoner and were putting out yet another round of fires, victor ran off ahead, discovering the goblin's base camp. The bear riding cheif rushed in but was incapactitated by a color spray early in the fight. The party made short work of the goblin warriors they were facing off against, but Alath foolishly got too close to the bear and was promptly mauled. Eventually they were able to shoot the bear enough to put it down and once unbeared the Chief posed little threat. With the goblins dealt with the group searched through the camp and were able to find the boy, tied to a spit and covered in butter and herbs. After questioning their prisoners it became clear they had been chased out of a mountain clan for advocating eating the sweetest meat (man) and had moved into the Rook area to hunt. Gathering up the fireworks and the boy the group headed back with their prisoners with a job well done.
