Player Loot:
Neigh Chevaloshad: 2000gp.
Dryth: 2000gp.
Aura'li Eldra'zi: 2000gp.
Soran Ebonhand: 2000gp.
The group, relaxing in a tavern, were approached by some apparently wealthy merchants from Orashar who wanted some help clearing out their archaeology dig site of undead, something both and Aura jumped at the chance to help with with the other happily coming along for pay. After some prep and jugging of resources to make sure they'd be fine against the (probably) mummies they'd be fighting, the group took the portal and forged their way across some scorchingly hot desert to reach the location in question. True enough it was partially submerged, so Neigh decided to aid the group by transforming in to an earthen pony and quickly scoot around the place to check what was inside it. Unfortunately for him the incorporeal undead cared not for his tremorsense and swiped at him as he raced past, draining him and giving chase till he got outside. Now more wary of the place, the group buffed appropriate and began to file in.
Almost immediately parts of the wall detached themselves to reveal that much of the mortaring was made from dessicated and preserved people - these stone-like mummies lurched forwards and began to beat down upon people before Dryth promptly utterly ruined them with fire. Edging in to the place carefully, Neigh kept close to the ceiling and blundered in to the shadows once again, narrowly escaping becoming a lot lighter and thinner. Once again magical arrows and fire saved the day, with Aura also blasting them repeatedly with her holy energy. Scouting ahead, another 5 of the mummy-like creatures were discerned to be within the floor ahead, waiting. Dryth fired a massive maximised fireball which not only wiped them all out in one fell swoop, but also obliterated the murals on the floor, the floor, walls and much of the ceiling'sd integrity. As the place around them creaked and cracked, it was decided that maybe fireball was not the best of options for a spell in such a place.
As they went to clear out the rest of the place a mighty mummified sphinx of some sort swooped out and slammed in to Diane, swiftly dismembering her as she looked on, frozen in fear. Once again fire absolutely ruined it's day and, as the charred remains collapsed to the floor, the party took stock of the situation. With such immense damage done to the historical murals they were in part helping the archaeologists get access to, Neight used a cunning stone shape to make it appear as it they'd never been there in the first place. That problem solved, he turned once again to Diana who had died yet again. Feeling a bit guilty about the death, Dryth mentioned he could help cover the cost of a reincarnation and as such Neigh gave it yet another go.
H wanted her to return to a horse form. His wish was granted as Diane emerged as a beautiful, and rapidly asphyxiating, giant seahorse. With stone shape and create water swiftly taking care of that problem, the group went back to get paid as Neigh worked out how he was going to go ahead with Diane being an aquatic animal now....
