Player Loot:
Primrose: 2850gp
Lorek Ra'dari: 2850gp
Faelyn Lenci: 2850gp
Ben Weese: 2850gp
Nicoroth Urumai: 2850gp
Concerned with the latest batch of drugs necrotising potential clients, Nicoroth set out to ask questions and take names, to lead himself to the source of the strange substance that would have negative effects on his marketplace should the Rook guards get a hold of it. On his travels he saw a group of adventurers he was familiar with, so asked them for potential help in sorting out the problem. Readily agreeing, since the substance appeared to be linked to the plague that plagued Rook before, the group assembled their respective tokens and traveled through the portal to see the swamp in all it's swampy glory. Travel north found the previous leper settlement, this time filled with black scaled lizardfolk, an occurrence which interested Ben immensely. Upon closer inspection they were all horrifically diseased and after a false start one was completely cured as the rest sent to blissful sleep by Primrose to, at least very temporarily, ease their suffering.
Hearing that the cauldron was back in use, the intrepid group forged their way east via their new guide and saw it full and bubbling. Slowly making their way towards it saw an ambush of a trio of leukodaemons who were promptly frozen, shot or sliced to pieces. With various diseases effecting the party they attempted to hit the cauldron a lot, only to spill a creature made entirely from worms that looked at them briefly before plane shifting away. Further hits inadvertently triggered one of its maladies, prompting Ben's collapse and subsequent return of everyone to Rook to regroup and recover. Commander Bergstein was of course concerned and organised rotating shifts of clerics to help screen entering people for disease. Regardless, payment was offered and plans set in motion to deal with whatever came out of the cauldron...
