SUMMARY:
Rainen rushed off towards Rook for help leaving the party to tend to the survivors. Ben, who had been sleeping through the commotion previously, had woken up just in time to come up to help escort survivors off the ship and leave the ship prior to the explosion. The Pleroma began sinking into the icey depths of the Bay but counterbalanced as it's balloon drifted onto the water. This made for a stable enough raft for the heroes to deposit the survivors.
A black flagged ship sailed towards them from the East, between the party and Rook. Not wanting the civilians to be involved in a fight they rushed the ship and made quick work of the crew. As they were wrestling with the four leaders on the boat a Giant Sea Serpent rushed out of the water tearing into Samael with it's mighty jaws. Some quick thinking from Lorek had the beast subdued and the party were able to put an end to it and the remaining pirates. All save for one, a hooded figure in a cloak who attempted to flee.
Naya's sharp eyes caught a glimpse of the nigh invisible figure in the water, she quickly caught up to him and he surrendered. They brought the passenger back on the uninjured pirate ship and, once more, Lorek used his magics to bend the captive's mind to his will forcing him to answer Naya's questions.
He called himself Death and referred to the other Leaders as Conquest, War, & Famine of the Four Knights. He revealed that there were three other ships, besides the one they stood and each captained by a different Knight, each with it's own set of Knights. This was Famine's ship, whom Capitalist had beheaded. He was also forced to show the location of their hideout to the North-West hidden where the mountains meet the Ocean between the Elven and Human kingdoms.
Death also revealed that he had no idea who hired their band. They received their payment upfront with written instructions by a gnome with fiery red hair and a bushy mustache. The original documents were back at their hideout and not on board their ship. Having nothing else to question him about. Ben took the helm and weighed anchor bringing the ship to the half sunken blimp. The Pleroma's captain offered to steer them back to Rook and upon arrival they found Lord Radomil waiting form them.
Lord Radomil thanked the Heroes and, once the survivors had departed, gave some insight into whom was probably to blame. He had paid for the Pleroma, not for ownership but for sole rights of the airport that he also paid to have built. This caused a stir with a lot of the guilds but there was no direct threat. He dismissed the thought and paid the heroes thanking them for their time. The Crimson Hood and Lord Radomil took Death prison, paying for the manacles that were binding him and took him away. Leaving the heroes alone on the wicked ship.
