Some adventurers were in the Golden Plow when one of them spots a scrawling request for help in Draconic in a giant slab of parchment on the job board. The Brimstone Tribe is asking for help dealing with plants that have been invading their cave. The adventurers take the job but realize that they don't know where the Brimstone cave actually is. They ask around Rook and find a dwarf who heard of it on the way to the Mithrael mines to the south. Properly prepared, they venture out. They stop in the little mill town to ask for information but find out that no one in the hamlet goes into the cave anymore. Something about a giant Scorpion and some weird humanoids.
The adventurers go into the cave and decide to split up. Half run into some troglodytes but make peace and offer some potent potables. The other half run into some small soft shelled scorpions and manage to fight them off. They regroup and ask the troglodytes for the mission, only to find that they had drugged the troglodyte leader by mistake. The second in command asks the adventurers to deal with some invading plants but doesn't know too much about them.
The adventurers fight their way through ranks of vegepygmies and find a trap door. They decide to venture down it and fight the vegepygmy chieftain. And then decide to walk through some funny red mold to explore the second level of the cave, which looks like dwarven architecture. After catching some disease from the mold spores and several of the adventurers needing to recover, the adventurers were convinced to return on another day, perhaps after doing some research on the red mold.

The Brimstone Caves Part 3 will be planned for roughly a week from now. Those who have played in parts 1 or 2 will have priority on part 3.
