To cut a long story short, with preparation the group gathered and went to Orashar to scry and hunt down the various rogue illithids. The first pair were relatively quickly found and hacked apart before they could impregnate anyone's brains, though Primrose trigged a wonderful anti-Psionidari trap that almost converted her to a brain-eating cause. Some backtracking and scrying later sent the adventurers rushing back towards Rook in mild horror, as a somewhat crazy vivisectionist had managed to make his way through the portal undetected (or rather, disguised) and was apparently cutting apart a Rook guard and making yet more scourges. This was deemed not good, so with Lorek's excellent local knowledge the party were able to quickly track him down and dispatch his pair of progeny, though he scarpered down a sewer tunnel. Chasing him down proved largely fruitless for nearly everyone, though an invisible Ben managed to finally rip him apart as the unsuspecting tentacled mess tried to run through him.
With corpses delivered to Ploatus like old times and information delivered to Commander Bergstein, payment was gratefully received all round, though the final two rogue Psionidari remain at large, for now.
