Player Loot:
Lorek Ra'dari: 2850gp.
Ben Weese: 2850gp.
Primrose: 2850gp.
Invited by Halladin to travel to Orashar and see the sights, Lorek, Primrose and Ben made their way through the portal to chat with the locals and get more familiarity with the locals. The trio travelled around to chat to the various factions, such as the dwarves and their relations with the kobolds of the region who Ben was particularly interested in talking to. Hearing recommendations of a nearby temple with a guardian, and the relevant treasure inside which would help locate certain devolved illithids, the trio set out across the desert and scrubland to acquire it. En route a Ruhk accosted them, swiftly deciding against it once it was slowed and a flying Samael was wailing on it. Ben narrowly avoided dying by willingly losing altitude each time he was hit, saving him from the bird's dangerous talons.
Once that was out of the way the group encountered the guardian of the temple - a sphinx with a penchant for only letting royalty pass. Once Lorek has spoken in a manner she found pleasing, the group went further in only to encounter a rather large armoured snake who bit Ben and gave him a bad time indeed. With acidic poison eating away at him inside, Ben proceeded to punch the snake repeatedly with Samael's help till it stopped moving, managing to throw off the continuing effects of the poison (which was pretty fortunate). Going further saw Lorek getting shot with a sleep poison which could have gone badly indeed had he not also fortunately thrown off it's effects.
Spying a crown at the end, Lorek had Samael coronate him only to find out it was cursed and wasn't a crown of mind shielding but rather very much the reverse. It also had the added effect of making his mind seem even tastier, a fact Primrose and Ben found somewhat odd. Unable to remove it immediately, Lorek and friends returned home, though Ben asked Halladin a few questions about the crown first, and with Primrose's assistance the crown was finally divested from Lorek's head. Clem and Tine were more than happy to pay for the thing whilst returning the useful bait-effect as a convenient smaller circlet, allowing the party of adventurers planning to lure out or hunt the rogue Psionidari to gain a pretty snazzy and convenient keepsake.
