After receiving an invitation to fight for wealth and glory from a clearly reputable, taxpaying corporation, our adventurers entered an underground (literally, not illegally) arena. After the tolling of some bells, several different elementals began being teleported into the arena to fight them round after round. Beginning with a negative energy elemental, the party felt confident they would destroy the remaining matches, as only Lorek was hurt by its explosions of negative energy, while his body guards, Samael and Capitalist, soaked it up like nothing. Half a minute later, acid, lightning, and earth elementals were dropped into the arena, surrounding the group on three sides as Miere, Capitalist, Ben, Lorek, and Rainen went invisible. Samael would not have appreciated this if he didn't lack the mental capacity to disapprove of anything whatsoever. Luckily, he wasn't instantly taken out, as the round previous, Rainen had warded the party from both acid and lightning attacks (As well as fire, this will be important later.) Next round, rather than surrounding the party from the sides of the arena, the elementals were dumped in close quarters with the party, as if some maleficent force was trying to increase their viability. With an obsidian elemental literally exploding into fragments of molten obsidian into half of the party, Samael was killed, to later be replaced by his twin brother, Samael. Ben took the front of the blows from both the mud and air elementals, while the magma elemental mostly just vomited on itself. Lorek, between casting slow on the elementals, retreated into a cozy shell of force to prevent death. Ben didn't have such a convenience, so he went prone and closed his eyes (While on fire, but taking no damage because of Rainen). Finally, the arena flooded with water, as an elder water elemental attacked the group. Unfortunately for it, water elementals suck.
Our group retrieved their prize, after giving a good show and taking glory in front of their crowd(?). Rainen began swimming around the arena in a bubble of water, and the rest left to continue on with their slightly less miserable lives.
