[Approved] Nicol Baybrush | Human Ranger

Nicol was born in the Freeholds to a couple of farmers named Nathis Baybrush and his wife Youra. When Nicol was 5 years old, his family was blessed with another child, his brother Kam. His father owned a small farm so naturally Nicol became a farmer. What other option was there? He never had much love of farming but knew he was expected to learn the family trade and to help out where he could. His father used to tell him tales about his lineage and that the Baybrush's were descendants of the legendary wizard Krasnash who was rumored to be born from a dragon. He chalked it up to tales by a lowly farmer to entertain his sons. Nicol's true love was the nearby woods and spent much of his childhood there exploring and dreaming of adventure. In those woods lived an old hermit named Frellis. Frellis took a liking to Nicol and told him stories of his past adventures. Nicol visited the man often and learned a great deal from him. When Nicol was 14 he went to see the man but sadly he had died in his sleep. Nicol buried him in a nearby clearing and hid his valuable belongings in a safe place. Over the next few years, Nicol would return to the old mans cabin often and dream about how wonderful it would be to take the old mans gear and go out and see the world as he once did. It was while out on one of these outings that his family farm was attacked. Nicol returned home to find his family dead an his farm in ruins. A dead goblin lay on the ground in the barn near his brother. Kam must have gotten a lucky hit on the goblin with the shovel that lay next to his body before being killed by the other goblins. Nicol buried his family and returned to the old cabin in the woods. He put on the old mans gear and set out to find the goblins that killed his family. After a few days of wandering in the woods, he found the culprits. A small band of six goblins living around an old hallowed out log. Not one goblin escaped his vengeance that day. There was nothing left for him back at the farm so he decided to explore the land as Frellis did when he was younger and see what adventures he could get into...

Nicol dresses in simple clothes that can weather the hardships of wilderness travel. He wears mostly greens and browns to help blend into the wilderness. His hair is shoulder length and usually unkempt. He is an adventurer at heart and desires to see as much of the land as he is able. He tends to be a social person when others are around and loves hearing stories of other adventurers travels.
