Having made first contact with the Tengu and being an upstanding citizen, it is understandable that Kaitos would be the adventurer chosen to lead a group back to Kamigami no Kuni. The High Council had decided that a group of delegates should travel to the island to discuss possible trade agreements and potentially supplying the city states with gold and other materials should the cold war with Rein Shi ignite.
Kaitos assembled a group of adventurers, some he knew and some he did not, to act as a neutral party in negotiations and to be bodyguards for Rooks delegation. They traveled to the Tree of Sands via teleportation to meet with their diplomats and then began the journey to the great City of Crows, where a gala was planned.
On the way, they set up camp and were ambushed by ninjas. The assailants were killed, barring one who escaped, and their allegiance to Rein Shi discovered. The delegates were worried that there may be more troubles, but decided to press onto the gala to being the discussions.
The gala was grand, set out in a large ball room in the City of Crows. Many tengu were in attendance, from all walks of life from the city. Also present were 4 of the 5 Kami who protect the city (the 5th, being a fish, was not present).
The gala was going very well, until the Oni attacked. Revealing their true forms, they began to attack the civilians and diplomats but the party managed to provide a distraction so that everyone could escape the ball room. The party then fought valiantly and defeated the Oni attackers and capturing their leader. They learned from the city guards interrogations that this attack was simply meant to send a message and that more Oni and evil tengu were on their way. The diplomats agreed that rook would supply gold and materials to the city states so that they may sure up their defences, but were clear that they would not fund offensive action or supply troops. With the negotiations complete the party stuck around the city to immerse themselves in the culture, before returning home with the diplomats.

Meanwhile, Leopold tried to be clever and teleported himself into a category 5 hurricane and promptly drowned.
