Gathering in the Golden Goose, the body of Puck was prepared and brought forth. With the procession making it's way to the docks, many people came out to stand in silent memorial to the fallen adventurer. At the docks, they boarded a boat, and swiftly made their way to mount possible. Upon their arrival there, they were quickly rushed onto a great airship (a privilege few outside of the gnome community had ever experienced). Once the great ship had made it's way into the sky, it made it's way south at a tremendous speed. Halfway through the first day, the ship was assaulted by Chimeras, forcing Peek and Magnus to drop their attention from the spells maintaining their speed. The creatures let out a huge blasts of their breath weapons, pelting the ship with fire, acid, and lightning. Peek and Magnus quickly doused the first fire, with a quick spell from Caisys extinguishing the second. Through the combined efforts of the party, one of the creatures was forced to flee, and the other two quickly met their end. The ship continued on through the night and into the next day. Late on the second day, a horrible noise was heard from the engines of the airship, and they were forced to make a quick landing into the water before the ship skidded up onto the beach. With Peek, Magnus, and the captain staying behind to repair the ship, the group headed through the forest to bring word to Puck's family. After a long trek through the woods, they came to a log crossing a dried out river bed. As they approached the log, a swarm of Mi-go flew out of the trees. The battle was furious, with the Mi-go attempting to carry off several members of the party. After rescuing their team mates and killing the vile creatures, the team made it's way to Puck's home. They found the repaired airship waiting for them, and everyone gathered around to bid a final farewell to Puck. They were interrupted by the sound of drums and the approach of some wild tribal looking halflings. The tribesman accused the party of trespassing on sacred lands, and demanded recompense. They wanted "food", which the party was almost ready to agree to until a whispered warning from Peek "They're cannibals" quickly changed their minds. An offer of weapons seemed acceptable to the creatures, but after a quick discussion the party decided this was an unacceptable risk. Angered by the indecision of the adventurers, the tribesman moved to attack. Their chief dropped a fireball in their midst, and several tribesman moved in to attack. Quickly dispatching two of the tribesman, and killing the chief, convinced the remaining tribesman to flee back to the forest. After the conflict was resolved, everyone returned to the funeral. Puck's mother spoke a few words, inviting others to do the same. After a quickly spoken prayer to Pharasma by Esré, Puck was lowered into the grave, and covered over. After this, Peek opened the will of his friend only to find a map, with the cryptic phrase "send them here" written on it, pointing to a temple in the desert. Puck's mother quickly realized the trick Puck had used to conceal his will, and after a few muttered phrases revealed the will written on the back of the map. Puck had left most of hi belongings to his family and close friends, and left a large sum of money to those who had attended his funeral. After the reading of the will, the group was invited to join a feast in Puck's honor, where there were served a traditional halfling funeral cake that would reduce their sorrow. After a decent nights sleep, they boarded the ship in the morning, and headed home.
