TREASURE:
SUMMARY:
Our heroes were having a good time in the Golden Plow when a Dwarven man by the name of Brann entered. He was purchasing some Ale from Duade. While they were waiting for Duade's strongman to fill up Brann's cart, Duade mentioned that Brann should be taking at least some sort of escort. He didn't feel right sending Brann out to a distant inn between Oriar and Rook without some protection. Brann brushed it off but when the adventurers approached him and offered to protect him in exchange for room and board if nothing happens but paid if he is attacked the Dwarf agreed to the terms.
On their way to the distant tavern they noticed the smell of smoke. Lisa and Szem snuck towards the camp seeing a few bugbears and hobgoblins arguing. They were interrupted by a hobgoblin yelling at the two goblins to hide, that they heard there were humans coming this way and they would ruin their trap. Lisa tried to excuse herself, wanting to see what the bugbear and hobgoblins were up to. However, the hobgoblin had other ideas and did not want the charming gobliness to leave. She ran to the north right into another pack of hiding hobgoblins.
After a short fight, one of the bugbears looked upon all of it's fallen comrades before turning tail and running. Two hobgoblins chasing off after him shouting for their "boss" to wait up for them. The adventurers put an end to the hobgoblin making sure they would never both anyone again. They looted the small horde of trinkets the brigands had taken thus far and proceeded to the tavern and, eventually, back to Rook. Brann thanked them for their help and slipped them the sacks of gold he had promised them.
